So how in the world did we get the call name of "Ess-C" (pronounced like "Essie")?  She is co-owned with Marge and Phil Berger, who also bred her and (kind of) have a Southwestern/Native American theme (hence the Smoke Signals name).  Marge and Phil had recently lost their 20-year-old black domestic short haired cat Ebony when Ess-C was born.  A few years ago, we lost our 14-year-old black domestic short hair, Creole.  Ess-C is named in memory of our black cats and is an acronym for "Ebony Smoke Signals - Creole".  Ess-C has an incredibly square muzzle and an outgoing, sweet personality.    She also looks like she's singing when she yawns (see below).
