So how in the world did we
get the call name of "Ess-C" (pronounced like "Essie")?
She is co-owned with Marge and Phil Berger, who also bred her
and (kind of) have a Southwestern/Native American theme (hence
the Smoke Signals name). Marge and Phil had recently lost
their 20-year-old black domestic short haired cat Ebony when Ess-C
was born. A few years ago, we lost our 14-year-old black
domestic short hair, Creole. Ess-C is named in memory of
our black cats and is an acronym for "Ebony Smoke
Signals - Creole". Ess-C
has an incredibly square muzzle and an outgoing, sweet
personality. She also looks like she's singing
when she yawns (see below). |
